Ergonomic Parcel Handling Highlights Partnership

Caljan Rite-Hite US (www.caljanritehiteus.com), a world leading manufacturer of advanced material handling solutions for loading and unloading loose loaded cargo and Vaculex , a world leading manufacturer of lifting aids, based on vacuum technology, are excited to introduce their Vaculex ParceLiftTM vacuum lift system. The Vaculex ParceLiftTM system is designed specifically for use with the Caljan Rite-Hite line of telescopic belt conveyors.

Caljan’s Vaculex ParceLiftTM has been developed as an option for the Caljan Rite-Hite products. Utilizing the vacuum lift technology, the Vaculex ParceLiftTM grips and lifts packages to the correct ergonomic height in one efficient movement. High productivity is maintained without the risk of repetitive strain injuries. What makes this system unique is the light, carbon fiber, articulating arm, providing an ergonomic solution that is sure to improve the material handling capabilities for distribution centers, mail order houses, the parcel industry, and more.

The Vaculex ParceLiftTM easily travels into trailers to assist with loading and unloading, and is ideal for use in confined spaces or areas with low headroom. The Vaculex ParceLiftTM system lifts up to 88 lbs and can be operated with either left or right-handed controls. Safety is always a priority with Caljan Rite-Hite and the Vaculex ParceLiftTM is no exception. The system uses patented technology to ensure there is no risk in dropping the parcel. The non-return valve closes in the event of a power cut and the parcel is slowly lowered and remains attached.
